Position:

Systems Software Developer (Job Code: 1007)

Duties:

Responsible for the maintenance of information security and business continuity program components to protect the enterprise infrastructure; provide assistance to all business units and assist senior business protection staff to verify that the processes, controls and documentation are adequate to protect client from threats; assist with the risk analysis of the technical and non-technical processes that support new and existing client environments, ensuring that actionable and effective controls are in place, including Risk Analysis (RA), Risk Mitigation (RM), Vulnerability Assessments and Preparedness Assessments; assist with the maintenance of required documentation to mitigate risk, ensure rapid response/recovery for disruptions to essential client processes, and demonstrate HIPAA security compliance; assist with coordinating company-wide response of information security and/or disaster incidents, including assisting senior staff with preparing the client enterprise to respond effectively to an incident, including appropriate use of simulation exercises and testing; assist Business Protection Services in addressing activities including IT audit compliance; drive the correlation, detection, and response to cyber security incidents impacting the enterprise by ensuring they are properly identified, analyzed, communicated, actioned/defended, investigated, and reported; utilize Shell scripting, Python, Linux, UNIX, Redhat Cluster, Solaris ZFS, IBM Flash System, Java, Perl, Ruby, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, and VCS to perform duties; support security monitoring and incident and problem management; assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures which support prevention, detection and response of cyber security risks and threats; coordinate the process of gathering, analyzing and assessing the current and future threat landscape, as well as providing the Privacy Leader with a realistic overview of risks and threats in the enterprise environment; monitor and report on compliance with security policies, as well as the enforcement of policies; conduct ongoing intelligence-gathering activities to stay abreast of trends and techniques; and work with centralized Cyber Crime Expertise and Response Team (CCERT) Red Alerts to assess security advisories, coordinate scans, track remediation, provide regular status updates.

Salary:

$95,264 per year

Minimum Qualifications:

* Education: Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree
* Training - None
* Experience: One (1) year in the position above, as a Systems Software Developer, as a Systems Administrator, as a Software Developer, as a System Analyst, or in a related occupation;
* Other Requirements: Must have one (1) year experience with all the following: Shell scripting, Python, Linux, UNIX, Redhat Cluster, Perl, Ruby, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, and VCS. Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
